On November 25, 2015 at approxximately 7:00 p.m. I went outside in the front yard to smoke a cigarette. As I lit my cigarette I looked toward the East and over the Sierra Nevada mountain range I noticed a glowing red-orange oval shaped object that was stationary. Ih know what an airoplane’s lights look like but these didn’t flash like the typical plane. I ran inside and yelled at my sister come quick look at this … bring your cell phone which she dd. We both saw it and it didn’t look like anything we had ever seen She capured it on video on her cell phone. It hovered in the East for a few minutes not moving and then zipped towards the South East eventually out of view. We both new this wasn’t an everyday occurance. Evidently, others also saw it because my sister said that the news said it was a meteor. But what kind of meteor hovers and stands still in one stationary place and then quickly “zips” off in another direction rapidly?
