Comment on It’s UFO! (not UAP) by R. McClellan

Unidentified Aerial Phenomena would be the term used by anyone who places a premium on the scientific method, and who respects the subject enough to show precision in thought & grammar. Nothing about the “objects” fly in any way that we would normally think of as “flying.” There is nothing aeronautical about them. They’ve been witnessed moving through air & water alike, even disappearing into mountain sides, or the ground, not to mention changing shape & disappearing on the spot. A new, more scientifically accurate term, along with a fresh, serious approach to the subject can’t hurt in removing the tinfoil-hat stigma attached to it.
