Online users have accused NASA of “lying” after the US space agency appeared “to cut” its live space feed on the International Space Station (ISS) cameras. Moments before the live feed was interrupted, a mysterious bright blue orb came into view on the screen. In a video posted to YouTube, one of the cameras on the side of the ISS record a huge bright blue object emerging behind one of the space station’s solar panels.
Footage of the UFO was captured: “UFO? NASA Live shuts down right after this object appears next to the ISS.”
The video feed follows the object for a few seconds, even zooming in on the orb, which is hovering above the planet.
The live space feed then cuts off promptly, asking viewers to “Please stand by”.
A message appeared on the screen reads: “The High Definition Earth Viewing experiment is either switching cameras, or we are experiencing a temporary loss of signal with the International Space Station.”
Viewers have speculated that the incredible blue UFO could be an alien spacecraft.
One user wrote: “NASA is lying.”
A viewer added: “That was a weird looking blob next to the space station?”
Another noted the peculiarly blurred object, explaining: “If the European Space Agency can manage to film beautiful, ultra-high-def footage of things outside the space station, why can’t NASA?”
One person claimed the footage proved that NASA was “hiding” something extraterrestrial from the public.
People desperately tried to explain the strange orb, saying the object could be a “space ice ball”.
Other users claimed the object looked like “a drop of water in zero gravity”.
